About the Role

Reporting to the Finance & Administration Manager, you will provide bookkeeping support which includes processing payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable. You will also monitor and audit the revenue received.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

• Process fortnightly payroll and weekly vendor payments
• Monitor and reconcile company bank accounts
• Weekly cash flow reporting
• End of Month reconciliations and journals
• Reporting for management and statutory reporting (eg BAS)
• Auditing of internal backend administrative system and comparing to revenue reports received
• Analysis of and creating excel spreadsheets

Criteria

Essential Criteria

• 3+ years work experience in a similar role
• A good understanding of general accounting principles
• Experienced using Xero
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office products
• Confident computer skills and the ability to use multiple software applications
• Professional manner and presentation

Desirable Criteria

• Previous experience within the Online Travel, Hire Car or Insurance Industry
