This position is based at Voyages Corporate Office, Sydney.

We are seeking a General Manager of Resort Finance to oversee all local finance, accounting and procurement activities. You will ensure compliance with relevant finance policies, insightful and meaningful management reporting and the delivery of finance business partnering services to the operations team at Ayers Rock resort.

You will be critical in driving finance process improvement, adoption of new technologies and ensuring the success of recent finance system upgrades.

Your key role will see you:

• Manage the Ayers Rock Resort finance and procurement functions ensuring achievement of the strategic objectives of finance and the business.
• Lead the Ayers Rock Resort month end process including journal posting, quality assurance, provision of analysis/insights and preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.
• Identify / implement opportunities to improve finance processes through simplification, automation and centralisation.
• Manage the preparation of rolling financial forecasts and annual budgets.
• Provide analysis / modelling support on ad-hoc projects

You will have:

• CA/CPA qualified with hospitality experience desirable
• Highly driven individual with deep financial expertise and strong commercial acumen
• Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex financial processes to non-finance staff easily.
• Proven effective business partner with a bias for action.
• Confidence to deal with internal and external stakeholders of all levels as well as senior management across the business.
• Experience driving change and improving finance processes and controls to support business growth.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong cultural awareness of Indigenous affairs.
