VOSS Automotive, a leading global supplier to on-highway and off-road OEMs in the design and manufacture of Diesel Exhaust Fluid Lines, Coolant Lines, Air Suspension Lines, and Fittings, Fuel Lines and Fittings, and Quick Connect and Accessories is expanding its workforce and has the following new position open at its North American Headquarters.

s to: Accounting Manager

This Accounts Payable position will support the Accounting Department by performing the following duties:

Job Duties

• Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system s to balances (GR/IR Accounts).
• Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense s; recording entries.
• Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities; verifying federal id numbers; scheduling and preparing checks; resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; ensuring credit is received for outstanding memos and purchase order amendments.
• Verifies receipts are received for all company credit card transactions and issues payment to employees for out-of-pocket expenses.
• Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions and analyzes Accounts Payable Aging .
• Maintains historical records and filing of documents.
• Processes all wire transfers and foreign currency transactions.
• Creates and maintains all intra-company and inter-company vendor information.
• Prepares 1099 information at year-end for submission to auditors.
• Maintains Intercompany Related Party Summary on a monthly basis.
• Participates in month-end and year-end closing.
• Verifies appropriate approvals are on all invoices prior to processing.
• s sales taxes by calculating requirements on paid invoices.
• Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
• Communicate with vendors via phone, email, mail or personally.
• Contribute to the achievement of quality/management objectives by ensuring that company policies, procedures, and processes are followed.
• Follow all Quality Management Systems, the Environmental Management Systems, and, when applicable, support VOSS Automotive Mexico in adhering to their systems as well.
• Participate in plant recycling programs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree (A.S./A.A.) in Accounting or Finance; three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
