E-Commerce Marketing Specialist
Summary of Position:
Vornado is seeking a creative and tactical E-Commerce Marketing Specialist to support our growing business. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing optimized digital content to enhance brand awareness, drive organic traffic, and foster engagement across all e-commerce channels. You will also take charge of executing and monitoring digital advertising campaigns, ensuring they align with performance metrics and business objectives. Your exceptional writing skills, keen attention to detail, problem-solving acumen, and analytical abilities will be instrumental in achieving outstanding results. You will to the Director of E-Commerce.
You Will:
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of product performance, features, and specifications.
  • Proofread and edit content, ensuring consistency in style, voice, and adherence to SEO best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal design team to create visually appealing images and videos that meet retailer requirements and improve conversion rates.
  • Execute item setups and optimizes content for Amazon and other e-commerce channels, aligning with SEO best practices and best seller ranking trends.
  • Develop and implement content strategies to increase product visibility, improve organic search rankings, and drive traffic to our listings.
  • Create and optimize product listings, including writing compelling product copy, selecting relevant keywords, and optimizing images and other media assets.
  • Continuously monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and competitive advantage.
  • Manage listings across e-commerce accounts to ensure they are in compliance with retailer requirements.
  • Implement and monitor A/B testing, taking necessary actions based on results.
  • Audit existing e-commerce listings for accuracy and optimize content, incorporating improved imagery and copy following SEO best practices.
  • Manage content production schedules ensuring adherence to project requirements and deadlines.
  • Work closely with product managers and brand creative group to ensure content accuracy and alignment with objectives.
  • Plan and implement online advertising campaigns to enhance product visibility and boost sales.
  • Continuously monitor campaign performance, optimize keywords, and manage advertising budgets efficiently to maximize results.
  • Analyze campaign performance data to deliver actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Proactively seeks insights into online content trends and best practices, identifying opportunities for improvement and competitive advantages.
  • Responsible for maintaining review monitoring solution and providing rating analysis s to sales managers.
  • Manage review sampling programs and enrollments.
  • Monitor retail pricing compliance and promptly s non-compliance to sales managers.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members and management.
You Have:
  • Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis required; employer sponsorship for employment-based visa status is not available for this position.
  • This is not a remote position.
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, graphic design or marketing is required. Other degrees combined with relevant experience will be considered.
  • 2+ years of digital marketing and/or e-commerce work experience.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce channels and business strategy as well as a merchandising background preferably in an e-commerce related field.
  • Knowledge of product listing optimization (titles, descriptions, imagery, enhanced content, etc.) and SEO basics.
  • Experience with Amazon advertising and/or other retailer media is preferred.
  • Understanding of search engine optimization and user experience design concepts.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Working knowledge of consumer products and services as well as the understanding of promotion techniques.
  • Thorough knowledge of copywriting and graphic design and fluency in digital content production.
  • Familiarity with content management systems and e-commerce vendor portals.
  • Clear understanding of strategic communication and marketing theory.
  • Experience working in a consumer-packaged goods (CPG) and/or retail industry strongly preferred.
  • Must be able to resource needs, prioritize tasks effectively, communicate risks and meet deadlines.
  • Must be able showcase attention to detail, exceptional communication skills with team members, self-motivational attitude and problem-solving abilities.
Physical Requirements (with or without accommodations)
