The Role

The Talent Acquisition Partner role is a pivotal one as you will work closely with the People Team to build a world class candidate experience. From a candidate’s first touch with Voneus, you will be a guide and advisor for driving engagement with us.

We want to tell our story and you will act as a brand ambassador, building and articulating our Employee Value Proposition (EVP), identifying, sourcing and reaching the best people to help us achieve our vision. Internally you will help build a first-class career page, leverage digital and other platforms to engage with candidates whilst always providing an amazing and engaging candidate experience.

What will you be doing?

As a Talent Acquisition Partner you will be working with department heads and lead on full recruitment life cycle. You will be delivering against a range of hiring projects across the whole company.

Operational Responsibilities

• Work with line managers to understand resourcing needs, ensuring the application of relevant processes, timelines and documentation is aligned to the requirements of each post
• Scope each role with Departmental Heads to design job descriptions, key attributes, desired characteristics and, importantly, the right sort of character fit. In each role we are looking to hire upper quartile people
• Manage the interview and assessment process including filtering CVs, screening calls, by liaising with managers and providing feedback to candidates, as well as initiating pre-employment checks and maintaining a presence on selected interview panels when required
• Proactively source talent for Voneus by active network (e.g. social platforms and professional networks), headhunting and referral
• Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates
• Improve our employer branding through improving the ‘candidate experience’
• Responsible for a ‘best in class’ candidate customer experience, gathering feedback, and making improvements where required
• Track recruitment and keep up to date records of activity on the candidate tracking system and produce regular and ad-hoc reports on recruitment activities and processes
• Actively reduce spend on third parties and identify cost efficiencies, whilst ensuring the quality of recruitment is not lost
• Work with the People Partner, to ensure documentation relating to offers, interview notes, and personal details are accounted for, signed, and completed in a timely manner
• Protect the organisation from employee-related risks, ensure the organisation is fully compliant with employment law, and uses best practice approaches to recruitment

• Implementing Application Tracking System
• Work with People Partner to create Employee Value Proposition (EVP)

Experience

• Demonstrable understanding of the technical requirements required by engineering roles to enable effective candidate conversations/attraction
• Experience in a range of sourcing methodologies, including headhunting, social media, open events, agency and creative advertising
• Strong track record of direct sourcing and end-to-end recruitment activities
• Comfortable managing and prioritising multiple recruitment campaigns at different levels, with short timescales to hire
• Strong relationship-building skills, achieving positive shared outcomes and developing effective partnerships
• Ability to work on own initiative, and confident to work independently as well as part of a team
• Proactive, positive, self-motivated, with a willingness to help others
• Ability to work autonomously, prioritising and managing fluctuating workloads to meet demands
• Strong proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and similar platform
• Experience of EVP build
• Start-Up / Scale-Up exposure
• Experience as a Talent Manager, or Talent Partner Skilled at judging and integrating different cultures and characters
• Bachelor’s degree

Please note, you must feel comfortable commuting to our office in Southgate 3/4 times a week.
