About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the VGA HR team as our HR Coordinator. You’ll join a passionate team of supportive colleagues, all working together to deliver our People Plan. This highly visible and varied role will report to the Group HRD and will support the HR team across the entire HR lifecycle and portfolio. The role will combine a good balance of cyclical HR work with a strong focus on recruitment and on boarding.

Key priorities of this role include supporting recruitment and on boarding in the hybrid work environment, HR and employee record management, managing the administration for all activities for the employee lifecycle (employee benefits, training and development programs, etc.) Act as the first point of contact for employee queries via the HR inbox and escalation to relevant specialist or HRBPs.

This is a new role in a small HR team where there will be plenty of encouragement and support and the opportunity to contribute ideas to our HR practices.

About you

We are looking for someone early in their HR career, looking to continue their professional growth. To be successful, you will possess:

• HR degree or relevant HR qualification
• 2+ years’ experience in a similar role with exposure to Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards
• Outgoing positive and proactive approach, able to bring energy to the role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• An appetite for learning and being challenged, whilst also contributing ideas
• A strong proficiency with SAP Success Factors
• An intermediate to advanced command of Microsoft office applications
• Well-honed time management practices with a robust attention to detail
• The confidence to work independently when needed whilst operating collaboratively
