Volkswagen Group Australia Hiring for Training Specialist – Non-Technical ( months) at Zetland, New South Wales, Australia Full Time

About your new Role

This role is for a professional well versed in training and development programs with a passion for the automotive industry and dealer operations. This will role will be based out of our Zetland Head office along with our training facility based in Chullora for a 2 year maximum term period. This position will likely focus on the non-technical training such as aftersales, product, sales and customer service for brands such as Skoda and Volkswagen within VGA.

Your main responsibilities will include:

·         Maintain and evolve Sales and Aftersales brand education offerings

·         Effectively manage, develop and publish key learnings via group online learning platforms and facilitate training through the online platforms

·         Identify and understand specific Learning & Development (L&D) requirements for relevant parties and Develop new training material

·         Identify and understand knowledge gaps in the Dealer Network and design appropriate programs to address these gaps

·         Prepare programs that balance and meet both Dealer Network and Volkswagen Group Australia requirements

·         Maintaining high-level of product knowledge within Dealer Networks with typically high staff turnover levels

·         Manage interpersonal and commercial relationships with external stakeholders such as travel and accommodation providers (for attendees)

·         Support, develop and implement new product launches with timely Sales, Aftersales and Product training

·         Adhere to all WHS requirements for the areas of responsibility

About you
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following:

·         A qualification within training, learning and development or relevant experience preferred

·         An understanding or passion for the automotive industry, dealer networks and products preferred

·         Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills

·         Prior experience with developing and delivering training programs

·         Computer literacy and exposure to multiple systems such as learning management systems like Canvas and Job ready

·         Passionate, enthusiastic and motivating individual determined to inspire and coach others
