VolkerWessels UK Ltd Looking for Site Manager at Hornsea, East Riding of Yorkshire Full Time

The role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Manager to join our VolkerStevin team working on Civil engineering schemes on the Hornsea 3 project.

The Site Manager is an integral member of the Site Operation Team, they play a key role in ensuring that best use of all resources is available to provide maximum return to the Company.

The Site Manger is expected to act in a responsible and professional manner at all times maintaining good working relations with site management, Client, our chain of sub-contractors, suppliers and designers and with the general public.

Key accountabilities

• Assist in the looking at methodology and buildability of the project.
• Assist in producing submission document
• Attend the tender to commercial handover meeting as directed
• Control and management of all subcontractors on the site
• Ensure that appropriate quality records are being produced and monitored to verify that the works are being completed in accordance with the specified requirements
• Produce short term target programmes as directed
• Manage the completion of defects
• Attend interview for potential projects

Skills & experience

• NVQ 4 or equivalent
• CSCS – Supervisor
• Site Management Safety Training Scheme – CITB or equal equivalent
