Then come and join us here at VoiceAbility.
Who are we?
VoiceAbility is an independent charity and one of the UK’s largest providers of advocacy and involvement services. We deliver a wide range of service contracts funded by local authorities, Government, health trusts and other voluntary and private sector organisations and our Camden Peer Mentoring Service is one of our involvement services.
We’ve been supporting people to have their say in decisions, around health, care and wellbeing for over 40 years. We make sure people are supported when it matters most.
Our Camden Peer Mentoring Service was co-developed back in 2015 by Service Users, VoiceAbility CCG staff and has been a huge success within Camden. Our volunteer peer mentors are experts by experience and truly understand how difficult it can be to live with a mental health condition. By acting as a positive role model and being at a more advanced stage of their recovery our peer mentors can provide hope and empowerment to mentees helping them feel more in control of their recovery and future.
Professional Development?
You will have plenty of opportunities to enhance your professional abilities and you will make a real difference every day.
