Role Purpose:
A core element of Vodafone’s HR strategy is to deliver world class processes through its global HR systems. The HR Recruiting and Talent IT Architect in the HR space will play a primary role in Vodafone transformation towards a tech communications company.
The candidate provides expert knowledge, designing and leading the implementation of solution and application architecture (e.g. for a particular platform/business capability/user journey) according to the overall vision and target architecture. The HR Recruiting and Talent IT Architect focusses upon conducting technical analysis enabling the translation of the technical vision into a holistic solution design of future capabilities and features, including external dependencies, cross-domain integrations and technical enablers/stories.
He/she will play a key role in the Future Ready HR program, coordinating and influencing colleagues in shaping the HR Systems evolution and creation of new opportunities. This journey will include to assess/initiate/solution/drive initiatives related to innovative aspect in the HR Recruiting and Talent space. He/she will have an holistic approach and will consider several aspect of the potential solution: business and technical requirement, enterprise architecture & integrations, IT technical delivery, data migration complexities, process transformation & change, services enablement.

Key accountabilities:

• This role will be accountable for ensuring technical consistency of Recruiting and Talent Solutions across the HR functional areas (Core HR process and Integrated Talent processes) and in alignment with the IT guidelines and golden rules.
• He / she will assist and advises on the target architecture vision, evaluating and supporting the priorisation of roadmap items, translating them into designs principles, changes and non-functional requirements .
• Represent HR IT towards Business functions, System Integrators, HR Programme Projects and current Live Markets solutions.
• Manage the cross Functional Recruiting and Talent requirement review, covering HR processes, touchpoints with other non HR functions, areas as reporting, analytics, security, audit and compliance.
• Support RFI/RFP process in the Recruiting and Talent area .
• Review and approval of Recruiting and Talent Global/Local Technical enhancement and improvements, including further integrations & data migration approach.
• Responsible for designing and developing state-of-the-art reusable solutions, implement new technologies to drive global scalability, revenues and cost efficiencies throughout Vodafone Group.
• Key contributor for the innovation of HR systems, including deployment of “Future Ready” HR digital assistant.

General skills, knowledge and experience:

Essential

• Deep understanding of ATS system and processes logics .
• Deep understanding of Recruiting technical Marketplace .
• 5 to 10 years’ experience in HR Talent domain .
• Experience in Cloud projects / programmes in international & multicultural environment.
• Ability to translate customer engagements needs into technical requirements.
• Understanding of integration architecture and patterns.
• Experience and expertise of Success Factors.
• Experience in managing a sophisticated customer environment, where Tools and Automation are key to enable the continuous transformation/evolution of the organization and the constant tension to efficiency.
• Capability in managing and inspiring change in a large, complex organization.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Can do attitude.

Desired:

• Understanding of SAFe and Waterfall project management methodologies.
