VNA Health Hiring for Director of Home Health at Santa Barbara, CA Full Time

We are looking for a Director for our growing Home Health department! As Director of Home Health and member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for the overall direction of our Agency’s Home Health clinical services in Santa Barbara and the Santa Ynez Valley, overseeing a team of three clinical managers and ing to the COO. This is an on-site role.

Position Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health care related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Registered Nurse, must be licensed in California
• Minimum of five years successful management experience in a mid-size or larger home health or related health care organization
• Current CPR (BLS) certification
• Licensed driver with insured automobile
• Demonstrated ability to forge relationships and build strong teams
• Ability to market our services and deal tactfully with customers and the community
• Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, basic math skills
• Knowledge of business management, governmental regulation and Joint Commission accreditation standards
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills
• Familiar with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel) and comfortable with electronic medical records applications
