As an Emerging Talent Recruiter, you will play an integral part in helping to build out our newly created team focused on early in career talent.
Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?
You will start off with managing ANZ market for the first 6 months, and subsequently to manage the hiring for other countries like Southeast Asia as your role expands within the first year.
Potentially you can look forward to broaden your recruitment exposure to help take charge of hiring other entry level positions in the near future.
The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?
You’re a talent who enjoys working with different cultures and complexity. You would ideally have deep passion and good experience managing early talent recruitment and/or early talent programs. You have interest in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion area/matters.
As an Emerging Talent Recruiter, your time will be spent partnering with the business to uncover their business requirements and guiding them through the interviewing and selection process all while turning every rock to attract top talent and provide a diverse slate. You understand recruiting isn’t just about matching the right people with the right job, but fostering connections to our brand and ensuring every candidate has an engaging experience. At the end of the day, you’ll push the envelope and go the distance. You’re a balance of goal-driven and organized, allowing you to stay focused on the work that benefits your candidates and hiring managers.
Good to have if you’re able to communicate, besides English, in one of languages such as Vietnamese, Tagalog or Mandarin, and have strong relationship with universities and student societies.

The APJ team is currently distributed in the ANZ, Greater China, Southeast Asia & Korea and Japan and empowered to build their schedule and manage their programs with autonomy.
Where is the role located?
Sydney, NSW, Australia. This role is not a remote working model, you will have to be based onsite at our VMware’s Sydney’s office. Flexi-work arrangement such as Working-from-Home are allowed.
