About the Role

Defence Force Recruiting is one of our biggest, most creatively exciting and effective client partners. We’re looking for a freelance Strategy Director to work in our team for 2 months. You’d be day-to-day lead for strategy, ing to the Head of Strategy for Sydney and Melbourne, this role has direct client responsibility. It’s c.75% DFR focused, that means a built-in variety of work, from social strategy, to diversity initiatives, and this role gives you the opportunity to work with some of the best creatives, client engagement, tech and craftspeople around. We are developing a new campaign, with an exciting new strategy, and the role involves seeing the new work through its development. We need you to have experience of social strategy as well as the craft of nurturing a new campaign, for a variety of touchpoint.

Key Responsibilities

• Day-to-day Strategy lead across the ADF business, ensuring excellence in Strategy development and flow on effect to the work
• Supporting more junior members of the Melbourne strategy team on ADF work
• Potential Involvement on pitches while you are here
• Ensuring excellent ‘work that works’ across ADF
