We currently have an opportunity for a Transportation Manager for our clinics.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Direct and oversee transportation-related operations within the organization.
• Provide leadership, direction, coordination, and administration to the transportation department.
• Supervise and enforce completion of daily vehicle pre‐trip and post trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Provide management expertise, support, and supervision transporting patients and clients utilizing company vehicles in a safe and professional manner.
• Communicate effectively with drivers and provide updates and s for upper management.
• Maintain a professional, positive image and attitude in regards to clients, management, and subordinates.
• Read and interpret maps and driving directions to plan the most efficient route service for drivers.
• Receive, record, and respond to feedback from patients and patients’ guests.
• Coordinate schedules for drivers and patients needing transportation.
• Recruit and train all newly employed drivers.
• Develop safety protocol for all drivers to abide by.
• Conduct reviews with drivers to ensure they continually perform satisfactorily.
• Ensure all vehicles are safe and legally compliant.
• Arrange maintenance and repairs on vehicles as necessary.
• Coach and discipline drivers as necessary.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records on travel sheets, customer transportation forms, detailing pick-up and delivery times, vehicle maintenance forms, fuel purchases, incident s, accident s, vehicle condition s and other s as needed.
• Participate in job related safety trainings for, OSHA, Driver Safety, and Customer Service.
• Remain updated with all annually revised regulatory standards (OSHA).
• Maintain a satisfactory driving record.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience/Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and BLS certificate issued by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong physical ability.
• Management experience; route management experience.
• Ability to hire and train employees.

Schedule: Monday to Friday; 8 hour shift; flexible schedule
