A TYPICAL DAY WILL INCLUDE:
Process and code invoices and expenses in multiple currencies and ensures compliance with internal policies and statutory requirement (GST and PST)

Prepare bi-weekly cheque runs, EFT/ACH, wire, bills, and credit card payments.

Match invoices to appropriate documents, and ensure proper approval prior to payments

Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.

Acts as the primary point of escalation to resolve AP and vendor issues and any invoice discrepancies.

Reconcile Accounts Payable against vendor statements

Manage Accounts Payable email box and response vendor inquires by emails or phone calls.

Perform a variety of accounting and administrative duties as required.

Prepare monthly Accounts Payable accruals

Process and code employee credit card charges and employee expense reimbursements

Prepare intercompany cross charge list for Accounts Receivable process intercompany invoices

Other duties, as assigned

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS FOR SUCCESS:
2+ years accounts payable experience in a complex and high-volume Accounts Payable environment

Knowledge of accounts payable procedures; experience in manufacturing would be an asset

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Proficient in data entry and data management with ability to meet deadlines.

Effective organizational skills, attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills

Demonstrated integrity and ethical standards.
