We are seeking a motivated and extremely detailed orientated individual to work as an Accounting Assistant at our Edina, MN clinic.

This individual will record financial transactions, maintain financial records, fact check financial data, and update financial statements. They ensure accounts are current and accurate, using specialized software, spreadsheets, and other tools to track and manage financial data.

Responsibilities for the Accounting Assistant include, but are not limited to the following:

• Perform all activities related to the accounts payable function, including reviewing, coding, and processing payments.
• Perform day to day bookkeeping activities for multiple entities.
• Key deposits into accounting software.
• Conduct reconciliations of A/P accounts.
• Prepare Monthly Sales and Use tax returns for multiple entities.
• Prepare quarterly Provider Tax calculations and Annual Provider tax returns.
• Assist in month-end close reconciliation.
• Perform other duties as requested or required.

Required Skills, Abilities and Attributes for the Accounting Assistant include:

• High School Degree or GED required; Associates Degree in Business or Accounting preferred.
• At least 1-3 years of previous Bookkeeping experience for multiple entities.
• At minimum, intermediate level Excel knowledge and skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Be an excellent team player who works cooperatively and respectfully with all doctors, supervisors, and co-workers.
• Displays a desire to perpetually “Learn and Grow”.
• Efficient and highly accurate user of applicable information technology and health care management systems.
• Physically capable of working long hours in a fast-paced, often stressful, environment with the potential of emergency situations.

This is a Full-Time job working Monday – Friday.
