Title: Financial Analyst

Department: Finance

Reports To: VP of Finance

Financial Analyst Essential Job Functions

• Strong financial background with understanding of forecasting, building budgets and financial statements
• Ability to analyze and understand company’s financial statements
• Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
• General understanding of GAAP/IFRS and accounting transactions
• Ability to produce monthly reports, which will include key metrics, financial results and variance reporting/explanations
• Be a resource for questions regarding financial reporting for Finance Teams/Executives
• Assist with the development of the annual budget
• Prepares and analyzes weekly/monthly P&L Analysis Reports
• Prepare supporting schedules related to the year-end audit
• Complete data analyses utilizing pivot tables, formula-based calculations (SUMIFs, v-lookups, etc) and other advanced functions within Microsoft Excel
• Ad hoc requests from Senior Management and participate in special projects as requested

Financial Analyst Minimum Qualifications:

· Accounting or finance Degree

· Detail oriented

· Minimum 1-2 years general accounting/finance experience

· Proficient in Excel a must

· SAP knowledge a plus

· IFRS knowledge a plus

· CPA/CMA or any Accounting designation a plus

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
