POSITION OVERVIEW:
The primary role of the Customer Care Representative is to effectively execute all customer orders as well as coordinating all internal activities related to domestic and export orders in a manner that enhances the overall customer service experience. The Customer Care Representative is a member of the Customer Care team and provides support to other roles within the department as required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS*

• Coordinate and process customer sales orders in a timely and efficient manner.
• Coordinate and apply for all customer and regulatory documentation for domestic and international exports (i.e. Health and Veterinary Certificates, import permits, commercial invoices, etc.).
• Oversee and manage the logistical coordination, including the management of all aspects regarding transportation and shipping of all VNI products.
• Manage all freight/logistics activities to ensure customers’ requirements and timelines are met.
• Process all freight provider’s and other service providers (i.e. Customs Brokers) invoices.
• Maintain customer contacts database and records files.
• Handle customer enquiries and ensure timely follow-up to customer calls.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with customers to ensure sales orders and terms are clear, understood and documented.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of progressive work experience in a customer service and/or related supply chain function and relevant certificate/diploma in related field. Technical background in food manufacturing or Bachelor of Science an asset.
• Customer service driven. Enrolment in professional designation such as Customer Service Management a plus.
• Working knowledge of other languages would be an asset.
• Proficient in MS Word, MS Outlook, and spreadsheet/database (MS Excel).
• Direct working knowledge of customer service operations, warehouse management, inventory control, and supply chain management.
• Superior time management skills, detail orientation, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.
