Vitacore Industries Hiring for Packager at Burnaby, BC Full Time

Responsibilities include:
Adhere to product quality plans for Medical Devices.

Identify defects when sorting finished products.

Carefully bag and pack finished products according to relevant work instructions.

Keep products and packaging supplies separated and organized.

Move pallets and organize the finished product.

Monitor product quality, according to established procedures and promptly report problems to mitigate safety issues.

Conduct cleaning and sanitization diligently.

Identify and classify defects per respirator and mask quality check Work Instructions.

Other duties as assigned.

The role is a regular full-time position for one of each of the following shifts. The shifts are permanent, not rotating. Please let us know which you prefer in your application. Employees may train on the day shift for 1 to 2 weeks.

Weekday Day Shift:
Monday through Thursday: 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; includes a 30-minute paid break.

Weekend Shift:
12-hour x 3 days: Friday through Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; includes a 30-minute paid break.

Full benefits after successful completion of a 3-month probation period.

Skills and Requirements:
I Will train, but some experience in a manufacturing environment would be an asset.

Physically able to sit, stand, walk, bend, etc., and able to occasionally lift or move up to 40 pounds.

Manual dexterity and visual abilities for close-up detailed work.

Strong attention to detail.

Speaking, reading, and comprehension skills.

Salary: $20.00 per hour plus shift premium for Saturday and Sunday
