We’re building a new $150 million corrugated box factory. The facility will service Queensland’s thriving agricultural sector, primary industry and the FMCG markets across Queensland and will create over 100 new green collar jobs!

The Role

Reporting to the Queensland Finance Manager, you will be responsible for upholding and maintaining financial integrity for the Hemmant site. You will support the business with accurate and reliable information, allowing the site and wider State and Divisional management teams to make informed decisions.

You will provide strategic and operational financial advice to the business whilst ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial and reporting processes.

You will be a detail-oriented business partner and dedicated to problem solving and driving efficiency by minimizing costs where possible.

The key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Adherence to all safe working and environmental policies and procedures
• Monthly forecasting and reporting of business unit financial results
• Prime Materials cost control, providing variance analysis, financial feedback to key management stakeholders
• Management of capital expenditure from request stage to final capitalisation
• Managing the annual budget and Full Year Forecast processes

What you will bring to the team:

• Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Finance or Accounting
• CPA or CA qualified, or currently completing
• Proficient in MS Excel, SAP and Oracle experience preferred or similar software
• Solid experience working within a management accounting environment, preferably manufacturing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deliver clear and concise feedback to management, with a proven ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated experience in developing and managing budgets
• Ability to work autonomously
• Thrives in a diverse, dynamic, and fast-paced work environment
