The opportunity:

Visy is a beverage can expert with a thirst for creating new packaging solutions for our customers. Many of Australia and New Zealand’s most recognised beverage brands are delivered in cans we make.

Reporting to the Accounting Manager ANZ, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of financial and management reporting for our site in Yatala. As the finance and accounting subject matter expert on site, you will work closely with the plant manager and plant team to support them with anything from reconciliations to budgeting and forecasting, as well as supporting continuous improvement projects across the business.

You will be hands-on, proactive and a strong business partner to the plant team and the wider business delivering accurate, timely reporting and cost efficiencies.

The key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Finance and accounting subject matter expert for the Yatala site
• The preparation, maintenance, and oversight of daily, weekly, and monthly management reporting

• You will drive continuous improvement, train and partner with internal stakeholders in all facets of operational excellence
• Ad hoc project work or coverage where required

What you will bring to the team:

• Tertiary Qualified in Accountancy/ Commerce
• Preferable CA or CPA qualified
• Solid experience in manufacturing & financial environment
• High competency in excel
• Ability to build relationships with site staff
