Vista Health System Hiring for Talent Acquisition Specialist Job at Waukegan, IL Full Time

Vista Health System (Waukegan, IL) is looking to hire a full-time Talent Acquisition Specialist. This position reports to the Human Resources Director and will be responsible for the full cycle recruitment for clinical areas of the hospital. This position will provide assistance to the Human Resources Director, Human Resource Generalist, and a Benefit Specialist. This position will report and work on-site within the human resources department.

Talent Acquisition Specialist role and responsibilities:

Recruitment:

· Supports creating Requisitions and job listings for new positions

· Managing the ATS, recruiting sites, and social media

· Prescreens all candidates, schedules interviews with candidates and hiring managers

· Balance multiple openings while moving candidates thru the hiring process

· Communicates and follows-up with applicants and hiring managers to provide timely feedback

· Make offers, facilitate pre-employment tasks, and create employee files to start onboarding process

· Runs background checks and ensure all new hires are compliant with healthcare environment regulations

· Develops and maintain professional relationships with colleges and other recruiting sources and participates in hiring events on and off campus

· Builds a pipeline of candidates for frequent and reoccurring openings

· Prep and assist with any new-hire orientation

· Collaborate with hiring managers on a day-to-day basis around their specific openings

· Track, process all administrative tasks that relate to the full recruitment cycle from applicant to new-hire employee

Administrative:

· Part of an HR team and first line of Human Resources office

· Assist with record keeping for in-service training and required licensure and certification

· Responsible for the creating and ongoing maintenance of employee files by making sure all information is filed in employee file in timely fashion

· Able to effectively articulate details of open positions and provide data quickly when requested or needed.

· Able to articulate the benefits of working at Vista Health System and benefits offered to employees

· Responds to any internal employee questions and delivers unresolved issues to peers in HR for further research and resolution

· Process internal employee movement within the hospital thru electronic transactions

Recommended Qualifications:

· Healthcare recruitment experience (i.e. Nursing, CNA, Medical Assistants)

· Experience working in UltiPro Recruiting Gateway, Handshake, Indeed and other social media platforms

· Bachelor’ Degree in HR preferred, but not required

· Experience in Human Resources preferred

· Exposure to Human Resources legal requirements and compliance

· Exposure to working with highly confidential and sensitive information

· Must be flexible, highly customer service and people-oriented individual who demonstrates compassion, empathy, patience and understanding

· Must be team-oriented individual who enjoys working collaboratively with others, creating a positive environment, and communicating at all levels of the organization

· Must have highly developed organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and handle a wide variety responsibility simultaneously and constantly changing priorities

· Proficient computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, along with the ability to learn and apply new software

Requirements:

· Associates Degree require, Bachelor’s degree preferred

· 2-5 years if Human Resource work experience

· 2 years or more of recruiting work experience, healthcare preferred

· Position is 40 hours and on-site position
