Vista Care Hiring for Hybrid – Recruiter / Talent Specialist Full Time

Job Summary:

The Talent Specialist is responsible for all talent acquisition activities, including identifying, recruiting, and screening candidates for Vista Care. They will continuously be innovative and proactive with Recruitment. The successful applicant will use a variety of recruitment approaches and strategies. They will be dedicated to finding the best talent available to support Vista Care’s vision of providing the highest quality care globally.

This position will be hybrid. The location of the position will be based in Sheboygan, WI at Vista Care’s Corporate Office but the position will be able to work remotely twice (2x) a week, depending on performance after the initial training period has been completed.

• Consults with the respective hiring managers in the divisions that they are assigned to fully understand the requirements, duties and qualifications desired for open positions.

• Screens applications and inquiries in a prompt manner (within 24 hours).
• Provides “proactive” recruitment strategies such as attending job fairs, posting flyers, attending conferences, sending Indeed & LinkedIn messages and other applicable modes of communication to solicit passive and active candidates.
• Partners with trade schools, nursing schools, colleges, chambers of commerce and other sources in order to attract passive candidates.
• Handles a significant volume of open positions and works to find the best talent for those openings.
• Organizes and attends job fairs, campus events, and other networking opportunities on a routine and consistent basis.
• Promote the company’s reputation as an “employer of choice”.
• Conducts phone, google meet and in-person interviews.
• Helps to incorporate Vista Care’s name in the communities that they oversee.
• Creates and sends offer letters and other new hire paperwork based on open positions.
• Conduct background, DMV and reference checks.
• Ensure that all new hires are properly and accurately onboarded into the Company’s HRIS system (Paycor).
• Onboarding new employees into all Vista Care systems in a timely manner
• Acts as a point of contact and builds influential candidate relationships during the selection & on-boarding process.
• Follow up with hiring managers after the interview process to determine whether an offer will be made and to solicit feedback on applicants. Collects feedback on candidates that are unsuccessful throughout the recruitment process.
• Work with Operations and Scheduling to ensure that the Vista Care position list is up to date and accurate.
• Uploads all new hire forms/documents/letters into Vista Care Employee electronic files.
• Prepares inspiring and innovative recruitment materials and jobs to appropriate newspapers/colleges, etc.
• Routinely and pro-actively updates and maintains job postings on internal and external sites.
• Maintains and ensures compliance with applicable equal employment opportunity (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations for all states and jurisdictions that Vista Care has operations in.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Knowledge of Title VII and relevant laws surrounding arrest/convictions and proper interviewing.
• Communicates clearly and effectively.
• Exhibits excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in MS Office & Business Google.
• Prompt and regular attendance is a requirement.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
• Must maintain a pleasant and professional working relationship with all employees.
• High level of competency using computers, multiple programs, and databases

• High School Diploma or GED Required; Associates Degree or higher preferred.
• Two years of high-volume hiring and/or recruitment experience preferred, but not required.
• Prior healthcare recruitment experience preferred.
• SHRM-CP Certification preferred.

• Required to successfully pass the WI BID and other background checks, upon hire.
• Must have reliable transportation in order to routinely attend career fairs, distribute flyers, and visit different offices/programs (position may require traveling to and from Sheboygan, Manitowoc, Oshkosh, Adams area).
• Must have good interpersonal skills and consistently demonstrate effective decision-making abilities.
