Financial Analyst – Associate

The Financial Analysis team creates, implements and supports invoicing, cashflow management, platform and profit-sharing models for storm related products and services, as well as company-wide risk-management.

Key Responsibilities:

This candidate will to the Vice President. The candidate will maintain the profit-sharing platform and will work on projects as part of a strategic development of risk infrastructure to meet business and technical requirements. The candidate will be exposed to a wide variety of mathematical and computer sciences problems ranging from hardware acceleration to interface design. The candidate will work in close collaboration with management and members of Technology.

Knowledge/Experience:

• Strong background in computer science is required
• Significant experience in key languages (C++, C#, Java, and/or SQL) is vital
• Exposure to mathematical finance, pricing models, and numerical techniques for product valuation
• At least one year of experience in development is preferred
• Ability to work with minimal oversight in a hybrid environment (office and home)

Skills:

• Show keen interest in small business finance
• Show keen interest in implementation of models and the architecture of model libraries
• Strong teamwork capability
• Strong technical programming (C++, C#, Java, SQL).

Qualifications:

• Degree in computer science or a mathematical subject (Math/Physics/Engineering etc.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 – $115,000.00 per year
