Geography Teacher in Brent – KS3/KS4

I am currently working with a large mixed academy, with an excellent and supportive humanities department, who are looking for a teacher of Geography to join them starting in September.
The school has an extremely supportive SLT, great ethos and values, and pupils who have a passion for humanities.

The role:

• This is a full-time position including marking and planning.
• Qualified Teachers, newly qualified teachers and unqualified Teachers welcome.
• Teaching geography to KS3 & KS4
• Mixed variety of different ability students ranging across all sets.
• Responsibility of being given a form class.
• Start date: September 2023
• Salary will depend on your experience and pay scale.

Requirements:

• Hold the Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
• Previous experience working within a secondary school.
• Provide two professional references.
• Register with Vision Teaching and follow all compliance procedures.
• BA in Geography, QTS or PGCE.
• Minimum of two years teaching experience.
• Overseas trained teacher welcome
