What’s it all about?
Visa are seeking an HR Advisor who will act to provide hands-on HR generalist / operational support to Visa Payments Limited and support line managers and employees in our business. This individual will report to the Senior HRBP and work closely with their cross-functional partners for successful delivery across the employee lifecycle, cyclical activities, employee relations, and ad-hoc projects. We are seeking someone with enthusiasm and a positive mindset, who thrives in a complex environment while celebrating the successes and maintaining perspective.
The successful candidate will be comfortable independently navigating challenges in a dynamic payments organization and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with significant change, employing innovative HR practices and process, which enable the organisation to thrive and grow.
What we expect of you, day to day.
Act as an Advisor to Visa Payments Limited managers and employees on a day-to-day basis.
Provide first-line business unit support to managers and employees and be their first point of contact for business unit specific queries or signposting as needed to the HR Shared Service
Provide trusted advice and coach managers across performance, reward, talent, well-being, and employee relations in order to drive effective outcomes
Foster a performance mindset by delivering local training to increase line manager capability, and facilitate the necessary communications, which enables high performance
Collaborate with centres of excellence to drive successful implementation of people initiatives.
Support Senior HR BP as needed with delivery of cyclical activity across performance management, talent management, reward review and employee engagement
Manage Employee Relations cases (e.g. performance management, sickness absence/well-being, disciplinaries & grievances) in partnership with Sr. Employee Relations Consultants.
Maintains understanding of European employment law and escalates where issues may require external legal advice.
Consulting on employment law matters and managing risk for the organization in partnership with the Employment Legal team.
Oversee and own employee lifecycle activity (e.g. joiners, leavers, promotions, secondments, transfers, and other relevant employee life events)
Coordinating new joiner inductions locally
Conducting exit interviews
Provide monthly and ad-hoc people analytics reporting with interpretation of data as relevant
Data validation and cleansing (e.g. employee data, reward review, and other relevant data points).
Ad-hoc support of projects and work streams/projects which span Visa Payments Limited workforce.
Liaise with stakeholders at various levels of the business.
