Virgin Media Hiring for Software Engineer Job at Reading, England Full Time

We’re looking a Data Services Engineer to work alongside our data science and platforms teams to build the data products integrating our digital channels.

You’ll be responsible for building, deploying and supporting our data services which include pricing, identity, and personalisation.

This is a varied, hands-on role where you will help to architect systems ensuring they are extensible and reusable.

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

• Demonstrable experience of backend development using Python.
• Experienced with designing and writing APIs.
• Knowledge of cloud computing principles.

The other stuff we’re looking for

We’d also love you to bring;

• Education in Computer Science
• Knowledge of software engineering practices and procedures, eg, code reviews.
