Vinventions USA is seeking a motivated Purchasing/Logistics Coordinator to join its San Diego, CA team.

The applicant will be a key participant in opening a new manufacturing facility and rolling out the Company’s Netsuite ERP (Purchase to Pay, Design to Build, and Receipt to Pack business cycles).

The applicant will collaborate with Vinventions’ Global Procurement team to monitor and analyze North American market supply trends and leverage global procurement strategies to acquire materials and services in the most economical and efficient manner. Additionally, the applicant will be responsible for domestic and international logistics sourcing for inbound and outbound shipments.

In addition, the Coordinator will:

• Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems and processes, such as customer sales, order management, accounting, and shipping. Obtain, organize, and manage inbound/outbound shipment proposals for manufacturing facility operating in Mexico.
• Analyze the financial impact of both logistics and purchasing proposals.
• Establish efficient order quantities, lead times and inventory levels supporting the manufacturing operation.
• Prepare material forecasts to ensure manufacturing schedule requirements are met.
• Organize and direct inbound and outbound logistics domestic and international.
• Maintain Vinventions global supply chain key performance metrics.
• Ensure appropriate controls over the logistics and purchasing functions.

Minimum Experience, Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in a Purchasing/Logistics Role including experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently, effectively planning, organizing, and prioritizing work.
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
• Excellent PC skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or related field. If no degree, equivalent experience may be considered.

Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
