Salary

*This is a remote position, however the selected candidate will have to travel to one of the locations either in Dallas, TX or San Diego, CA for their first month for training. Travel & lodging are provided. Occasional travel is required for collaboration beyond the first month as well.

As a Software Developer you will

• Execute the entire software development life cycle

• Write and repair computer code

• Write well-designed, testable code

• Integrate software components into a fully functioning software system

• Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures

• Develop high-quality software design and architecture

• Maintain documentation and overall software functionality

• Troubleshoot and upgrade existing systems

• Maintain compliance within all project plans and industry standards

• Ensure software is current with latest technological standards

• Clearly and concisely communicate with management and technical support colleagues

• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products

• Perform trials, testing, and quality checks for optimization of software

• Deploy software tools, processes, and metric

• Work closely with other developers, engineers, and UX designers

• Ensure all projects are completed on time and to desired specifications

As an Software Developer you have

• Worked extensively with Python, Java and Javascript, and are proficient with MySQL and Mongo

• Experience working with a start-up company and can work independently

• Distinguished skills in complex software systems, and have delivered high build quality software that is easily supported in AWS

• Worked with diverse cross-functional teams

• Can clearly convey information and deliverables in both technical and non-technical terms to varying audiences

• Supported streamline processes of best practices and enjoy mentoring junior colleagues
