Village Health Partners Hiring for Medical Front Office Rep at Plano, TX Full Time

Village Health Partners is seeking an experienced and reliable Front Office Representative to join our team in Plano, TX. Candidate must have previous EMR and CPT/ICD10 coding experience in a medical/healthcare office. Superior customer service skills, the ability to multi-task, and excellent computer skills are a must.

Duties for this position include:

• Answering phones, scheduling patient appointments, receiving and posting payments
• Checking in patients, verifying and updating patient insurance and demographic information
• Greeting and directing patients and visitors
• Acting as a liaison between patients and medical support staff
• Checking out patients, collecting co-pays or deductibles and reviewing billing charges
• Maintaining work area, lobby, and patient flow
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Working efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Following all HIPAA and privacy rules

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years related experience in medical office
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Experienced in properly handling confidential and sensitive information; knowledge of HIPAA rules and regulations
• Experience with basic desktop software, medical practice management, and electronic medical records systems
• Must live within a 30 minute commute of Plano
