We are looking for an experienced Accounting Supervisor to oversee all financial aspects of business and drive the company’s financial strategy and planning through our next level growth. Successful candidate will be responsible for the organization’s financial well-being and oversight of a variety of financial responsibilities. To fill this role, we are looking for a reliable professional with broad knowledge to all accounting, financial and business principles, who is a strategic thinker and effective leader. Experience in the Manufacturing/Distribution sector is preferred. The Accounting Supervisor will serve as an integral member of the leadership team.

With a distribution center south of the Nashville area, we are open to remote work from home office with occasional travel to the TN office. Excellent command of computing software is a requirement for remote work.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall day-to-day accounting functions
• Providing leadership and decision making to the fiscal team and organization
• Retain constant awareness of the company’s financial position and act to prevent problems
• Set targets for and supervise all accounting personnel
• Hiring and training of accounting personnel when applicable
• Prepare and analyze financial reports (P & L, Balance sheet, KPI’s) with regular review of trends and potential areas of excess financial loss
• Research and reconcile all discrepancies
• Conduct analysis to make forecasts and report to upper executives
• Drive the financial planning of the company by analyzing its performance and risk
• Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines

Skills

• Proven experience as Accounting Supervisor or similar role
• In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices
• Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting in Manufacturing/Distribution sector
• Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (NetSuite experience preferred)
• An analytical mind with a strategic ability
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• BS/BA in accounting, finance, or relevant field

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
