Purchase Ledger Clerk

Location: Skelmersdale

Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm

As a Purchase Ledger Clerk you will be an integral member of the Finance team, completing a wide range of tasks such as updating spreadsheets, processing payments/refunds, checking costs and completing basic administrative tasks.

As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, your key skills should include:

• Checking Purchase invoices against Purchase orders, picking up on any price or volume discrepancies.
• Entering invoices on to Sage 200, ensuring all invoices are posted with great accuracy.
• Processing payments and refunds.
• Responding to account queries.
• Experience with SAGE accounting software is desirable
• Experience using Microsoft Excel is essential

As an accounts data entry clerk, your key skills should include:

• Experience of entering high levels of data paying close attention to detail.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced office environment as part of a rapidly growing team
• Excellent numerical and IT skills; the ability to utilise the in-house computer systems
• Flexibility to adapt well to change
• Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
