Job location

Forensicare is the statutory agency responsible for the provision of adult forensic mental health services across Victoria.

We address the needs of people experiencing mental health issues, the mental health sector, the justice sector and the general community. These services are delivered through inpatient services at Thomas Embling Hospital, community services through the Community Forensic Mental Health Service and prison-based services at several locations. This position will be based at Thomas Embling Hospital and will be required to work across all Forensicare sites.

• Much of the LMS content has been developed in house and requires updating and curation

• Building employee capability to enhance employee engagement and support the provision of the best patient care opportunities

Duties:

• Provideexpert technical leadership to ensure the full capability of Forensicare’s LMS
• Manage the day to day running of the LMS including resolving user issues, course and system amendments
• Provide coaching and support to all system users regarding general system questions, usage and reporting to maximise uptake of the LMS
• Design learning content and facilitate blended L&D workshops across the organisation on a regular basis

About You:

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of applications, particularly SharePoint, Teams, Forms, Excel, and PowerPointExcellent knowledge and relevant working experience in instructional design and with instructional technology
• Visual design skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) and ability to storyboard
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
• Demonstrated experience in managing projects, designing and facilitating L&D programs that align to strategic goals and contribute to organisational performance
• Experience in the design and facilitation of end-to-end learning and development programs within an organisation
• Proven experience in a learning and development role, preferably in health or community services (desirable)
• Passion and a commitment to the development of self, teamwork, and workplace culture.
• Ability to build rapport and productive working relationships with various stakeholders and learners
• Innovative and creative approach to training delivery and resource development with a strong focus on automation, process improvement and user experience
• Demonstrated experience in organisational culture assessmentanddevelopmentwork

What you need:

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or higher is essential
