Job location

Forensicare is the statutory agency responsible for the provision of adult forensic mental health services across Victoria.

Forensicare is situated across five sites across Victoria with its largest site being Thomas Embling Hospital,?located in Fairfield?just 15 minutes north of the Melbourne city centre.?Thomas Embling Hospital is a 136-bed secure hospital providing acute care, rehabilitation and continuing care programs. It includes a dedicated women’s unit.

Reporting to the Head of Infrastructure and Site Services, in your role you will:

• Provide administration support to the maintenance team, using specific based software
• Maintain accurate records and contractor compliance and inductions through LinkSafe
• Prepare and maintain essential services manual
• Work collaboratively on business improvement and processes
• Preparation of minutes of meetings, photocopying, collating of documents, upkeep of filing
• Be the central point of contact for group inboxes
• Provide reception support
• Provide administrative finance support to the trust team, accounts payable and receivable
• Undertake a range of administrative tasks.

Successful applicants will be required to provide evidence of COVID-19 Vaccination prior to commencing work at Forensicare. Under the Victorian Public Health orders, all employees working within the Public Health system must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. The current orders require evidence of three doses.
