HEP4 – $40.74 per hour (approximately) one to five days a week depending on the seasonal requirements of the department.

• The position is located at various campuses due to the operational needs of VUHQ.

About the role

Victoria University’s VUHQ Student Service Centres are currently seeking to appoint suitably experienced customer service professionals and students to join their dynamic teams.

As a Student Advising Assistant you will be responsible for providing high quality service to prospective students, current students, University staff and the wider community. You will be the first point of contact in a busy customer service environment and are responsible for ensuring that face to face enquiries are dealt with in a highly professional and timely manner.

Victoria University’s VUHQ is operational through its 8 Melbourne campuses. You may be required to work from any campus throughout your employment.

About the person

You will have superior customer service skills and will demonstrate initiative in providing high quality service.

You will have excellent administrative and organisational skills, and your ability to work as part of a cohesive team will be highly valued.

Ideally, you will also be a VU student or have prior experience in the tertiary education sector.
