HEW 6, $78,787- $85,280 per annum plus 17% superannuation contribution. This is a full time (36.75 hours per week) on going role.

About the Role
The primary focus of this role is to work with prospective students across Victoria to provide advice on potential study options at Victoria University (VU) and Victoria University Polytechnic (VUP). Placed in our Future Students and Marketing team, the Future Student Advisor plays a key role in developing a sound recruitment strategy with aims to increase student numbers at VU and is responsible for developing and implementing events that aim to show case the benefits of studying at VU. In addition, the position will attend commercial events where one on one conversations with prospective students will be required, as well as presenting to larger groups.

About the Person
Your excellent marketing and communication skills as well as a commitment to providing outstanding customer service will place you in good stead for this position. You will have extensive experience in project management and event coordination and an exceptionally high level of organisational skill to accompany this experience, with working to deadlines and under pressure not fazing you. You will be able to work within a small team, but also independently as needed to manage your own projects under broad direction from the Senior Manager, Future Students. You will need to be adept at public speaking, experienced in presenting to groups at events and exhibitions across Victoria as well as skilled at engaging and building relationships with a variety of stakeholders.

Duties
An example of duties you may perform will include:

• Project manage, report on and evaluate key recruitment projects, events and campaigns designed to recruit students into Victoria University courses
• Represent the University and provide comprehensive product information at key recruitment events including Open Day, major expos and career events
• Develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including academic staff and career practitioners
