This is a full time position at a HEP 5, $69,449 – $79,773 classification plus 17% superannuation working 36.75 hours per week over a fixed term contract period (if fixed term, 01/08/2023).

About the role
The Finance Officer is to provide business stakeholders from across the University, with the necessary transactional support and advice to meet their day to day financial requirements; ensuring adherence to the University’s accounting processes and procedures and actively assisting internal Finance teams to ensure the integrity of the data in Finance One

Duties
An example of duties you may perform will include:
- Regularly engage with Procurement, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to follow up on outstanding payments, revenue receipts and ensuring compliance with the relevant accounting policies and procedures, reinforcing these requirements with business stakeholders
- Provide a range of services supporting the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including but not limited to the creation of new suppliers/debtors, raising invoices, student and international payments.
- Provide professional customer service and be the point of contact for business stakeholders across the University, requiring transactional support and advice, responding to phone calls and emails with relevant information within pre-determined service standards
