Victoria Speech + Language Centre is Looking for Bookkeeper/Finance Admin person Full Time

Victoria Speech and Language Centre is seeking a rockstar Bookkeeper/Finance person!

We are a Speech-Language Pathology and Occupational Therapy private practice in Victoria, BC (Canada) and we are excited to add another bookeeper to our dynamic team! We are proud to be a neurodiversity-affirming safe space that provides excellent evidence-based speech-language services and occupational therapy to children and adults.

This is a very flexible position and is REMOTE! You can work from the comfort of your own home! You must be residing in British Columbia.

This position is 25-30 hours/week- some weeks are more hours while other weeks are less, this is depending on the week we are invoicing.

Create your own schedule- *Must be available at least 3 set hours; 3 days/week within business hours

Duties include:

• Calculating and submitting payroll for direct deposit (contractors and employees)
• T4s
• Monthly source deduction remittance
• Monthly corporate tax remittance
• Invoicing (creating and sending invoices to clients, funders and uploading invoices to the government funding portals)
• Recording payments
• Bank deposits
• Monthly bank and visa reconciliations
• Yearly WCB prep and payment
• Communication with clients and funders
• Compiling records for year end to send to the CPA

We are seeking an experienced bookkeeper who is;

-Competent with most of the duties listed above

– Excellent attention to detail

– Extremely organized

-Strong communicator.

This is a part time, flexible position.

Salary

Compensation ranges between $23-28 per hour, depending on your experience.
