Victoria Police Hiring for Recruitment Consultant (VPSG4) Job at Melbourne Full Time

About the role:

The Transfer and Promotion Unit convene Victoria Police member selection panels from the rank of Constable/Senior Constable through to Commander, servicing all Regions, Departments and Commands. Each Recruitment Consultant is responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment services for all sworn transfer and promotions processes.

Your duties will include:

• Manage and coordinate the internal end to end transfer and recruiting function to a high standard.
• Prepare a range of reports and written material.
• Organise and deliver information sessions, briefings and training.
• Ensure databases and records are maintained.
• Maintain effective stakeholder relationships.

As the successful applicant, you will have:

• Tertiary human resource management qualifications will be well regarded.
• Experience in conducting end-to-end recruitment and selection.
• Highly developed communication, consultative and presentation skills.
• Ability to work both collaboratively, independently, and effectively in partnerships and with strict deadlines.

Requirements and relevant information:

• Two (2) full time, ongoing positions available.
• One (1) part time 0.6FTE, ongoing position available.
• One (1) part time (0.8FTE), fixed term until 28/02/2022 position available.
• One (1) part time (0.8FTE) fixed term until 31/03/2022 position available.
• The positions are located at the Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands.
• The VPSG-4 salary range is: $88,955 – $100,930 p.a. plus superannuation. For part time positions the salary is pro rata.
• Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.
• The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.
• In accordance with the Acting Chief Health Officer’s Direction – COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination (Workers) Directions, you are required to be fully vaccinated and your employment with Victoria Police is subject to proof of vaccination.
