About the role:
As a Mental Health Specialist Educator, you will utilise your mental health expertise to develop the capability of Police Officers and increase the organisational capability in responding to mental health events. This is an extraordinary opportunity to improve outcomes for Victoria Police, the Mental Health System and the community.
Working with a small team of senior Police Officers and other Specialist Educators, you will also conduct research, design, develop, deliver and evaluate PRIME (Police Responding in Mental Health Events) training programs. This role is most suitable for an experienced mental health practitioner who has a passion for developing the capability of others to improve the outcomes of those experiencing a mental health crisis.
