We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Consultant keen to drive our recruitment, selection and onboarding processes for our established and highly successful clerkship and graduate pathway programs.
About the role
This role within People and Culture (P&C) supports our brand as an employer of choice for people who are seeking rewarding careers in an organisation that values fairness, care and courage. Partnering with colleagues in P&C, executives, and managers, this role will develop effective resourcing strategies and programs to build our pipeline of talent. You will assist us to strengthen our capability to attract, select, onboard and retain staff in a culturally safe and supportive way.
This role will see you contributing expertise and experience as well as practical and operational support. You will enjoy driving the recruitment, selection and onboarding processes for our established and highly successful clerkship and graduate pathway programs and exploring opportunities to build on their success.
Our team understands the challenges of starting a new job during work-from-home restrictions and will make you feel welcome while we transition back to our hybrid way of working with a mixture of work from home and attendance at our modern CBD office.
About you:
Passionate about supporting employment pathways, you have a strong understanding of how to enable successful and rewarding career journeys, starting with best practice recruitment processes. You will have solid resourcing expertise, as well as an interest in HR and the work of VLA in our communities.
You will enjoy working within a collaborative P&C team and being encouraged to further develop your skills and expertise. Given the multi-faceted aspects of the role, you will need to have strong organisational abilities and attention to detail to manage your work.
