Bookkeeping and Tax Preparation business is looking for an experienced tax preparer to work flexible hours during tax season during the week from 9am to 9pm. This position can be either part-time or full-time.

Job Include:

· Prepares tax returns and documentation for clients

· Follows all federal, state, and local tax laws

· Finds legal deductions to save money for clients

· Answers clients’ questions and provides advice

· Organizes financial records for clients

· Keeps track of deadlines and deliverables for multiple clients

· Stays up to date on all federal, state, and local tax laws.

· Maintains confidentially of all personal financial information

Education & Experience Requirements: Must have a High School diploma and at least 3 years of recent experience preparing at least (50) 1040’s per year utilizing Drake Tax software. Knowledge of preparing forms: 1065, 1120, and 1120S, is a plus, but not required. Must have the ability to communicate financial information clearly and strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to build strong working relationships with clients.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary, Internship

Pay: $15.00 – $36.00 per hour
