Are you looking to take the next step in your career? We are looking for an Accountant who is ready for their next challenge to continue growing their accounting skills within a dynamic and fast paced environment. You will be joining the Institute at a time of growth and will be supported and mentored by the Finance Manager.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day finance function while supporting the Finance Manager and Chief Financial Officer to ensure compliance, regulatory and legal reporting requirements for the Institute are met.

You will also be working closely with internal Research and Non-Research Department Heads, while also interacting with a range of external stakeholders, therefore the ability to build strong relationships remotely is a must.

What we will trust you with

• Ensure Institute financial transactions including grants are captured accurately and in a timely manner to generate financial reports and forecasts for leadership, the Finance Committee and Board.
• Manage and complete the month-end and year end processes accurately and on time.
• Support to business units with their financial information needs.
• Work with the Grants Department to ensure consistency and integrity of data between the Grants Management system and the finance system is maintained.

You are a qualified accountant who wants to take the next step in your career. You have experience, knowledge and skills in financial reporting & analysis and possess highly developed analytical, evaluative, and technical skills to support your recommendations to the business.

You possess a high level of attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities and timelines. You also have demonstrated experience using Microsoft Business Central, Jet Reports and Microsoft Office Suite.
