VGC Looking for Site Engineer at Greenwich Full Time

Site Engineer

Location – Southeast London

Day rate – £350-400 per day (Umbrella PAYE)

My client is looking for a Site Engineer to come on board and join their team based in the Southeast London area. The ideal Site Engineer will have a background in working on projects involving heavy civil works.

Site Engineer Responsibilities:

• Carry out relevant inspections and testing to ensure conformance of the works with the design and specification
• Ensure all work complies with quality, safety and environmental policies and the requirements of the company procedures
• Read and review construction drawings
• Capable of setting out to exact drawing specifications
• Ensure work is executed in a safe manner meeting legal guidelines set out in health safety and requirements and environmental compliance
• Safety / Quality / Programme and Production
• Manage site activities to ensure work is completed on time and within budget
• Review Method Statements and Risk Assessments and make improvements as appropriate.
• Deliver end product to customer satisfaction
• Implement appropriate policies and procedures

 Requirements:

• Major infrastructure project experience (heavy civil project experience would be beneficial) 
• Previous experience in Excavation, Piling, Reinforce Concrete, Groundworks, Earthworks or Structural works
• Confident with engineering paperwork
• Previous Tunnelling experience would be ideal
• CSCS card
• Ensure compliance with designs
