VGC Looking for Site Agent at Manchester Full Time

Job Role: Site Agent

Location: Manchester

Duration: 12 month contract (long term project)

Summary of the Site Agent:

I am currently recruiting for a Site Agent with a strong heavy civils background to work for a Tier 1 company on a long term Civils project.  

Responsibilities for the Site Agent:

• Ensure all permits ready for site work to commence
• Ensure the Inspection and Test Plans, and Quality Check Sheets are completed as soon as the checks can be completed
• Write and Approve method statements and risk assessments and ensure they are being followed throughout the works
• Checking design drawings and reporting any issues or inconsistencies
• Liaise with other Sections to ensure a smooth flow of work.
• Management of Section Engineers, Site Engineers, Section Managers and Foreman
• Experience delivering civil engineering schemes within a rail environment
• Drive construction phase of the project
• Manage Quality & Environmental plans on site

Requirements for the Site Agent:

• Experience with heavy civils projects
• Degree educated in an engineering discipline OR equivalent experience
• Previous experience in an Agent position
• Experience in heavy civils works and rail schemes
• Able to produce and explain accurate plans and drawings
