VetCor Hiring for Veterinary Recruiter Job at Washington State Full Time

Calling all pet lovers! VetCor is looking for a Veterinary Recruiter to assist our Washington, Oregon, and Idaho veterinary hospitals with their recruitment needs.

The Veterinary Recruiter role at VetCor is more interesting and dynamic than a typical recruitment role as you will work closely and collaboratively with Operation / Regional Management. This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly team in a growing and stable industry. Our ideal candidate is someone who truly enjoys building relationships and providing high levels of customer service. This position is preferably based in the greater Seattle-Tacoma area, but we will also consider candidates located in Olympia, Vancouver, or Portland. You’ll largely work remotely but may be required to travel into the field to get to know your practices or to support conferences and/or career fairs. To build relationships and manage candidates, you’ll engage with hiring managers and veterinarians via email, video conferencing, at in person events, phone calls, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate full -cycle recruitment process within a defined territory: Directly source and contact potential candidates, screen and route résumés, build relationships with prospects, schedule and conduct phone interviews, recommend qualified candidates to hospital managers for further interviews, conduct reference checks (online reputation review, etc.), present / negotiate offers, secure acceptances, and send out rejection letters
• Act as an ambassador for VetCor within the veterinary community including working with virtual events, state associations, and veterinary schools
• Work closely with hiring managers to define the position responsibilities and the experience and abilities the ideal candidate will possess, create job descriptions, establish salary ranges, and offer candidate selection advice
• Manage requisitions and candidates within the ATS by maintaining detailed records
• Write, post and manage warm, personalized ads postings on appropriate sources and platforms

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• 2 – 4 years recruiting experience
• Experience in multi-site healthcare provider recruiting (priority will be given to those with experience in multi-site veterinary medicine, dental care, or human medicine)
• Must be based in the Pacific Northwest

Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
