As an IT Asset Manager, you will be the one who manages and governs the end-to-end asset life-cycle, from the time an asset is purchased, all the way to when an asset is disposed. You will also assist in maintaining policies, procedures and best practices as well as manage assets from a financial perspective.

• Assists with or handles receiving of assets, deploying of assets, applying tags, logging installs, moves, adds, changes, and processing asset disposal
• Looks for ways to improve process to streamline all aspects of the inventory life cycle, including assisting with RFPs and vendor selection
• Monitors Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and optimal replacement times for assets
• Has a strategic mindset: Provides advice and counsel to company leadership on IT matters, specifically related to network, server, and security
• Delivers exceptional service: Works with and assists all levels of staff across the organization in a positive and professional manner
• Develops talent: Oversees IT Network staff, including their education and training

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (or related degree)
• Recommended – ITIL Certification
• Recommended – some combination of Certified Asset Management Professional (CAMP), Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional (CHAMP), Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM), Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM)
• At least 5-7 years of experience in asset management
