Vero HR is now looking to make its first finance hire given strong recent performance and ambitious growth plans. The Finance Manager will report directly to the Managing Director and will play a key role in shaping the finance function as Vero continues to scale.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to gain broad commercial and finance exposure, with the potential for significant career development and to design from scratch the financial reporting and accounting processes.

About our opportunity

The Finance Manager, a key member of the Senior Management Team and a key contributor to the growth strategy of the business, will be responsible for;

• Revenue invoicing and collection, expense and payment management
• Preparing monthly management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow)
• Designing commercial and operational KPIs
• Preparing annual budgets, forecasts and meeting other investor reporting requirements
• Reviewing commercial projects and marketing initiatives to determine ROI
• Dealing with corporate tax, VAT, Research and Development claims and other company secretarial matters

You’ll be a key stakeholder to the Managing Director on all finance and business matters – you’ll get a lot of responsibility and exposure to how the finance function can help drive strategic, commercial and operational decisions making this an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to become a future finance leader.

Requirements
Whether you aspire to move up to the next level or are already an experienced Finance Manager looking for a new challenge, we want to hear from you.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Fully qualified accounting professional (CIMA / ACA / ACCA), with post qualification experience
• Advanced working knowledge of Excel, Word and Power Point
• Experience of business forecasting and profitability modelling
• Experience with Xero is desirable
• Small company/scale up experience is desirable
