About the opportunity:

We are working as the internal recruitment partner for our client, a major designer, manufacturer, and global provider of bespoke products used by the offshore Oil and Gas industry.

Due to continued growth and expansion, we are presenting an exciting NEW opportunity for a proactive Production Supervisor to join their project-based, manufacturing plant in Hertfordshire.

The successful Production Supervisor will lead, develop, and motivate a hardworking and well-established team, providing support and guidance with daily production issues whilst monitoring and ing on set targets and KPI’s.

You will take responsibility for the coordination of resources and the provision of necessary materials to ensure the smooth running of the department and timely delivery of production schedules.

Working collaboratively with other core areas of the business, you will work to ensure full compliance with quality and Health and Safety procedures across the shopfloor.

Requirements

Who we are looking for:

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Proven supervisory experience within a Manufacturing/Production environment.
• Experience in cable manufacturing would be advantageous but not essential.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control, with experience of working towards ISO9001 would be beneficial.
• Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Ability to lead by example and inspire a team.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• A team player who is willing to be hands on when required.
• Highly organised, flexible, and adaptable.
• A keen willingness to learn.
