Vermont Permanency Initiative Hiring for Science Teacher Full Time

Vermont Permanency Initiative (New England School for Girls) in southern Vermont is hiring a Science Teacher to provide general education services and work collaboratively as part of a team with planning, instructing, and special education services. VPI is a grade sixth through grade twelve residential school. Applicants must be eligible for a teaching license in Vermont.

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate knowledge of multiple content areas of science, knowledge of Common Core, Next Generation Science Standards, the Vermont Proficiency-based Graduation Requirements, and 21st Century learning, understanding and applications of best practices in teaching and learning in science. Is enthusiastic, student centered, and committed to educating all students to high standards and establish and maintain standards of student behavior conducive to an effective learning environment.

Requirements:

* Must have a Bachelor’s degree

* Must be 21 years of age

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
